Oliver Smith Recruitment are working exclusively with our key client in Glasgow to recruit a Finance Data Analyst on a permanent contract.

This role would suit someone looking for a new challenge managing a diverse team through repetitive, day to day activity-based work, involving data matching, Batch data uploading and downloading for processing, keying, and copying data into various IT/data systems, who enjoys leading a team maximising accuracy and identifying processes improvements.

The Successful Candidate will have:

• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Strong EXCEL skills
• Good attention to detail
• Ability to build and maintain excellent working relationships internally and externally
• Ambition and drive to help improve the services and processes
• Sound judgement and the ability to make sound appropriate decisions quickly and effectively in complex situations
• Self-motivated and uses initiative, seeking advice when required
• Positive and proactive ‘can-do’ attitude, and willing to learn
• Sound numeracy and literacy skills
• Good working knowledge of IT systems e.g. word/excel
• Remains calm under pressure.
• General admin duties

Strong EXCEL skills are essential for this role.
